George Ellison
Actor
ABOUT
Imagine a funny Kenneth Branagh meets Matthew McConaughey without a six-pack; then mix in a self-effacing Al Pacino and you have George.
George Ellison is an American actor based in Chicago and Atlanta who is known for his work in film, TV and commercials. George started his acting career at Chicago's St. Nicholas Theatre where his acting coaches included William H. Macy and David Mamet. He later became an attorney. Unlike Sam Waterston, George was a real life D.A. in Chicago.
George jettisoned his soul-crushing legal career, graduated from the seminary and resumed his acting career. He was a stage actor for years at major Chicago theaters such as Redtwist and City Lit. Though coached by some of Chicago and Atlanta's finest actors and comedians George remains a relative bargain (not even close to Denzel) to cast.
In his spare time, George trains in Scottish peat bogs with a team of Siberian huskies for the Alaskan Iditarod and he makes eco-friendly crop circles in the Sahara Desert.
George plays an evil cop in a dystopian future.
George plays a Catholic lay researcher dodging Communist spies in post WWII Europe to find evidence to support an American bishop for canonization.
As a zombie, Nathaniel Barksdale, in The Letter-A Lovecraftian Tale.
George plays a Businessman in a comedic commercial parody.
Showing Poison Ring to Lydia Hiller
George plays a senior attorney schooling a new attorney in the firm.
George plays a father of a family that can't have a photo taken of them at Montrose Harbor in Chicago due to hilarious mishaps.
